Dear DSS Managers,
Congratulations on completing the online phase of the DSS Executive Management Programme! You have been all made great effort in the past two months, and your engagement online was very much appreciated! We hope that you have enjoyed the learning so far.
We would like to give you some heads-up on the next steps of the programme.
What if you missed classes …
For those who happened to miss some classes, you still have the month of November to catch up. As long as you complete all the requirements set for each module, you will still be able to generate weekly module certificates. Please note that you have up until Friday, November 25 to complete the missed online modules. Beyond the deadline, we will close the online phase, and you will not be able to make up for it any more. Failure to complete online modules, you will unfortunately fail the programme.
How do you generate the final certificate for the online phase?
To recognize your effort to complete all the online modules, you will be able to generate a certificate for the entire online phase of the programme, if you meet the following two requirements:
1. You are required to submit the certificates of the previous 8 online modules here https://dss.unssc.org/course/view.php?id=11§ion=5
2. You are required to complete the online phase feedback survey at https://dss.unssc.org/course/view.php?id=11§ion=5
Once these two conditions are met, the certificate for online phase will be available for you to print out.
What happens next?
The theme of November is coaching. While majority of you have completed the 360 exercise, we would like to kindly remind those and their raters who have not yet done so to complete it at your earliest convenience.
To help you understand what to expect and take advantage of the coaching session, we will have a webinar next Thursday, November 3rd, at 8am, with general information about 360 result interpretation and coaching session.
You will also hear from us soon regarding your coach assignment, and you can schedule the individual session with your coach. You will need to complete one coaching session of 1.5h by Friday, November 25. Failure to complete the coaching session, you will also fail the programme.
(PS. 360 and coaching are only required for those who have not participated in the face to face sessions in Turin last November).
Special webinar
We have a special webinar session by Mr. Aron Sherinian, the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for the United Nations Foundation on Tuesday, November 22 at 8am. Aron’s bio can be found here: https://dss.unssc.org/course/view.php?id=2§ion=1
Thank you again for your dedication to the programme. We look forward to the next phases of the programme and meeting some of you in New York.
Best,
UNSSC Management Training Team
