MR. MIGUEL PANADERO

SENIOR PROGRAMME MANAGER, LEARNING LAB

Miguel Panadero joined the UNSSC in 2007 and currently serves as the Manager of the Learning Lab, one of the five programmatic teams through which the UNSSC offers knowledge and learning services to UN system organisations and their staff. He started an international career with a strong focus on learning and training management in 1997. Through various assignments with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the UNSSC, he has acquired a broad range of experience in the field of learning management, the application of technology to support learning and internal management processes, Results-Based Management, as well as the preparation of personnel for field assignments. Alumni of the University of Plymouth (UK) and the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), he holds advanced degrees in Law and regional analysis (University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain) and is the author of various training publications.



DR. JINGBO HUANG

COURSE COORDINATOR, LEARNING LAB

Dr. Jingbo Huang is the lead programme designer and coordinator of the Executive Management Development Programme. She joined UNSSC this February as a course coordinator in the Learning Lab, responsible for management and innovation programmes. Before moving to Turin, she was the Head of online learning, e-learning and learning management system (Inspira) in United Nations’ Office of Human Resources Management in New York. As a Learning Specialist in UNDP from 2013-2015, Jingbo has designed, developed and delivered the UNDP signature management and leadership programmes for Resident Representatives (RRs), Deputy RRs and Operations Managers, which were described by UNDP senior managers as "having created new standard". She started her 15+ years of UN career from UNESCO in Paris as a consultant. Jingbo holds a Doctor of Education degree from Columbia University, specialized in instructional design, online learning, and adult education. She also holds a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from Institut d’Etudes de Grenoble, France, and Bachelor degrees in Economics and French from Peking University, China.



MS. CHIARA BORSINI

LEARNING LAB

Chiara Borsini is a consultant at the United Nations System Staff College, where she provides support to the Learning Lab activities. She has a  background in journalism and new media, study areas in which she specialized following a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences of Intercultural Communication, a Master's degree in International Relations, a period of study at the Government and International Affairs Department at Durham University, U.K., and a Master in World Heritage and Cultural project for Development. She worked as a digital storyteller at the DELTA (Distance Education and Learning Technology Application)  Program at the International Training Centre of The International Labour Organization (ITC-ILO), dealing with the documentation and communication of the DELTA Program and Sustainable Development Program activities. She was a facilitator, a social media and digital content coordinator for the Gamification for Development MOOC, developed by the Delta team. She has worked as a freelance writer and editor, she is also co-author of cross-media and audio-visual projects on social and environmental issues.





DR. FRANK XUN MA

INTERN, LEARNING LAB

Frank Xun MA is an intern at the Learning Lab of the UNSSC, specialising on instructional design. Before moving to Turin for this internship, he was in his master study in Science Education with a focus on Educational Technology in UCL Institute of Education, London. He holds a bachelor and a doctor degree in chemistry from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong SAR, China. He also spent one semester as an undergraduate exchange student in KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. He is passionate in education with great interests in online teaching and learning, and he has also got two certificates from the online platform Coursera. He is also a believer in science who always wants to do more in science communication.





MS. JUNGEUN HUR

INTERN, LEARNING LAB

Jungeun Hur(a.k.a. Jamie) is an intern at the Learning Lab of the United Nations System Staff College. Before she joined to the Learning Lab team in Turin, she was majoring in Educational Technology for her master’s degree in Konkuk University, Republic of Korea. She has bachelor’s degree of Social Education, specialized in Politics, Laws, Economics and Socioculture, and English Education as a double major. She also studied English and Culture for one year as an exchange student in Brock University, Toronto. She has worked in best e-learning company in Republic of Korea called ELICS as an instructional designer after she finished undergraduate school. She enjoys making new relationship and communicating with people using SNS.
